Why it works

The blade is polished to a mirror with only a faint blue cast, and the gloves carry an iridescent patina under brass studs. Both surfaces are metal, which is rarer than it sounds.

What it costs

With Kukri Knife | Blue Steel in Field-Tested and Hydra Gloves | Case Hardened in Field-Tested, the set comes to $136. Kukri Knife | Blue Steel is 57% of that; in Battle-Scarred it is $71, which saves $6.95, but check the render first.
