A strong open-area LMG, the M249 is the perfect choice for players willing to trade a slow fire rate for increased accuracy and a high ammo capacity. Excavated from Aztec ruins, parts of this M249 have rusted and been covered in moss.

Questions about M249 | Aztec
- How much does M249 | Aztec cost?
- M249 | Aztec starts at about $0.42 and runs up to around $2.56 depending on wear. The cheapest wear is Field-Tested at $0.42, and Factory New is the most expensive at $2.56. Prices here are pulled from live market listings and refreshed daily, so treat them as a starting point rather than a fixed quote.
- Which wear should you buy for M249 | Aztec?
- M249 | Aztec exists between float 0 and 0.75, which is what decides the wear you can get. Here Factory New costs roughly 6.1x what Field-Tested does, so the question is whether the difference is visible from a first-person view. On darker and busier finishes it usually is not, and the cheaper wear does the same job in a loadout.
- What case is M249 | Aztec from?
- M249 | Aztec drops from The CS20 Collection and CS20 Case. Opening for a specific skin is a bad bet at almost any odds, so buying it outright on the market is nearly always the cheaper route.
- Does M249 | Aztec have a StatTrak version?
- Yes. A StatTrak version of M249 | Aztec exists and counts your kills with the M249. StatTrak copies are a separate item on the market and normally trade above the plain version, and a Souvenir version exists as well.
