The SSG08 bolt-action is a low-damage but very cost-effective sniper rifle, making it a smart choice for early-round long-range marksmanship. It has been given a hydrographic of a monstrous dragon snorting fire.

Questions about SSG 08 | Dragonfire
- How much does SSG 08 | Dragonfire cost?
- SSG 08 | Dragonfire starts at about $228 and runs up to around $311 depending on wear. The cheapest wear is Field-Tested at $228, and Factory New is the most expensive at $311. Prices here are pulled from live market listings and refreshed daily, so treat them as a starting point rather than a fixed quote.
- Which wear should you buy for SSG 08 | Dragonfire?
- SSG 08 | Dragonfire exists between float 0 and 0.5, which is what decides the wear you can get. Here Factory New costs roughly 1.4x what Field-Tested does, so the question is whether the difference is visible from a first-person view. On darker and busier finishes it usually is not, and the cheaper wear does the same job in a loadout.
- What case is SSG 08 | Dragonfire from?
- SSG 08 | Dragonfire drops from The Glove Collection and Glove Case. Opening for a specific skin is a bad bet at almost any odds, so buying it outright on the market is nearly always the cheaper route.
- Does SSG 08 | Dragonfire have a StatTrak version?
- Yes. A StatTrak version of SSG 08 | Dragonfire exists and counts your kills with the SSG 08. StatTrak copies are a separate item on the market and normally trade above the plain version, and a Souvenir version exists as well.
