A strong open-area LMG, the M249 is the perfect choice for players willing to trade a slow fire rate for increased accuracy and a high ammo capacity. Originally blue with a yellow heat shield, age and use have taken their toll on its appearance.

Questions about M249 | Warbird

How much does M249 | Warbird cost?
M249 | Warbird starts at about $0.49 and runs up to around $6.23 depending on wear. The cheapest wear is Battle-Scarred at $0.49, and Factory New is the most expensive at $6.23. Prices here are pulled from live market listings and refreshed daily, so treat them as a starting point rather than a fixed quote.
Which wear should you buy for M249 | Warbird?
M249 | Warbird exists between float 0.05 and 0.65, which is what decides the wear you can get. Here Factory New costs roughly 13x what Battle-Scarred does, so the question is whether the difference is visible from a first-person view. On darker and busier finishes it usually is not, and the cheaper wear does the same job in a loadout.
What case is M249 | Warbird from?
M249 | Warbird drops from The Shattered Web Collection and Shattered Web Case. Opening for a specific skin is a bad bet at almost any odds, so buying it outright on the market is nearly always the cheaper route.
Does M249 | Warbird have a StatTrak version?
Yes. A StatTrak version of M249 | Warbird exists and counts your kills with the M249. StatTrak copies are a separate item on the market and normally trade above the plain version, and a Souvenir version exists as well.
