The SSG08 bolt-action is a low-damage but very cost-effective sniper rifle, making it a smart choice for early-round long-range marksmanship. It has been painted using a hydrographic in a claw mark pattern.

Questions about SSG 08 | Slashed
- How much does SSG 08 | Slashed cost?
- SSG 08 | Slashed starts at about $0.84 and runs up to around $1.12 depending on wear. The cheapest wear is Well-Worn at $0.84, and Field-Tested is the most expensive at $1.12. Prices here are pulled from live market listings and refreshed daily, so treat them as a starting point rather than a fixed quote.
- Which wear should you buy for SSG 08 | Slashed?
- SSG 08 | Slashed exists between float 0.15 and 0.8, which is what decides the wear you can get. Here Field-Tested costs roughly 1.3x what Well-Worn does, so the question is whether the difference is visible from a first-person view. On darker and busier finishes it usually is not, and the cheaper wear does the same job in a loadout.
- What case is SSG 08 | Slashed from?
- SSG 08 | Slashed drops from The Huntsman Collection and Huntsman Weapon Case. Opening for a specific skin is a bad bet at almost any odds, so buying it outright on the market is nearly always the cheaper route.
- Does SSG 08 | Slashed have a StatTrak version?
- Yes. A StatTrak version of SSG 08 | Slashed exists and counts your kills with the SSG 08. StatTrak copies are a separate item on the market and normally trade above the plain version, and a Souvenir version exists as well.
